LISTSERV launched the e-mail list management industry in 1986 and remains the industry standard. It provides the power, reliability and enterprise-level performance you need to manage all your opt-in e-mail lists, including e-mail newsletters, announcement lists, discussion groups and e-mail communities. Many clubs use the McGill Listserv, and here is how to join the NSS Listserv
Subscription Procedure
- Send an e-mail to LISTSERV@lists.mcgill.ca
- Leave the subject field blank
- On the first line, type: SUB NEWMANSTUDENTSSOCIETY
- Send the e-mail.
- You will then shortly get a confirmation e-mail in response. Simply follow the directions in that e-mail and you'll be subscribed!
Unsubscribe
If you need to unsubscribe to the Listserv, follow these directions (using the e-mail address are subscribed from):
- Commence an e-mail to LISTSERV@lists.mcgill.ca
- Leave the subject field blank
- On the first line, type: SIGNOFF NEWMANSTUDENTSSOCIETY
- Send the e-mail and you're unsubscribed!

Need to announce something?
If you want to post a message on the Listserv to advertise an event, e-mail the NSS. Be sure to include all relevant information (i.e. time, place, etc.)
